This week is all about preparing for the seasonβs first matchesβeven if they donβt kickoff before next week. Itβs a critical stretch where the focus shifts from tryouts and evaluation to getting fully organized and ready to compete.
Players will receive their uniforms and we'll finalize team rosters. Weβll also take team photos to capture the start of the season. Off the field, weβll meet as a group to go over fundraising efforts and expectations, ensuring everyone understands how they can contribute to supporting the program throughout the year.
All spring sports programs will come together to help clean up Linn-Mar Stadiumβan important step in taking pride in our shared facilities and getting our home field ready for competition.
Then... once games begin, the pace of the season picks up quickly. With multiple matches each week, training, recovery, and preparation all have to happen in a short windowβmaking this weekβs organization and preparation essential before it becomes a race to the finish.

Team photos will be taken in the LMHS Main Gym on Tuesday, March 31, at 5:00pm. Team uniforms will be distributed in advance; players will be notified via Hudl chat.
Players are encouraged to stay after school to avoid missing the distributions. The fundraising meeting will also be taking place after school, at 4:30.
Coaches will notify their respective teams on what uniforms will be worn. Players are responsible for bringing the appropriate colored game socks (either black or white). Soccer shoes should be worn for the pictures, but players are asked to walk gently on the gym floors to avoid leaving scuff marks.

This winter, players and parents were made aware that we will again be using the Bound online "drip" fundraiser to send out up to four messages over a one month period to raise money for our program.
Players/Parents MAY opt out of this program and make a personal/family donation if they wish, but all players - regardless of team - are expected to participate in one way or the other.
Players electing to take part in the drip campaign to raise their share of the donations are asked to come to the meeting this week (Tuesday, 4:15, Food Court) with a list of 10-15 contacts (who are likely to seriously consider making a donation). Suggestions for good contacts include the following:
Keep up to date, and see what's happening on and off the field, by following our team on social media.
